Sponsoring a child:

Provides Aid Sponsorship helps one of the most vulnerable members of society; orphans. Your sponsored child will receive schooling, health care and social aid.

Creates Opportunity Poverty is more than a shortage of money; it is a lack of choices. Auxilia's programs focus on giving your sponsored child the opportunity to grow mentally, spiritually, socially and physically enabling them to make their own life choices.

Nurtures self-reliance Sponsorship provides children with education and knowledge enabling them to direct their own lives and be self-reliant.

Fosters One-on-one Relationships Through letters, pictures, and get-togethers, you develop a personal relationship with your child. In return, he/she benefits tremendously from having you take an active interest in his /her life.

You can be a sponsor for a child in two ways:

1. The individual sponsorship : According to this program, a person or a family sponsors a needy family, by paying $35 to $115 per month to each child. However, a sponsor may choose to only support one aspect of a child's life, for example $25 covers a child's Food expenses.
   
   
2. The collective sponsorship : Because of the vicious and difficult economic situation that our society was and still is witnessing along with decreasing of individual energy, we adopted a collective sponsorship program. Under this program, unlike the individual sponsorship program, schools & university students, family, friends and neighbors would be able to collectively support a family in need by dividing the sum of money needed between them to fulfill their role as a sponsor.

The sponsoring goes to the neediest child on the waiting list.

You can visit the family that you are sponsoring whenever you like with the Social worker in charge.

Our Sponsorship Plan covers three basic elements: food, medical care and tuition fees . Your donation to sponsor a child through Auxilia's plans may vary between $35 and $115 monthly. This financial support and commitment will give struggling children the encouragement needed to make their future better and brighter. Sponsorship is able to change both their life and yours. The special relationship you develop with your sponsored child is something you'll both cherish forever.

For those who wish to make more generous contributions, donations can be made to aid and establish Auxilia programs and projects.

After You Make a Donation?

All checks are sent to Auxilia's Operational Office.

All donations are tax deductible in USA and Canada . You will receive a Thank You letter along with the statue letter for your tax records.

Money is transferred once a month to Lebanon to be disbursed to the sponsored families.

Assistance is via a voucher system, with prepaid medical and tuition. No cash is exchanged.

No percentage is deducted out of the sponsoring amounts as administrative cost.

You will receive a letter and a picture from your sponsor child or designated beneficiary. Further correspondence is highly appreciated. Once in Lebanon , the social worker can arrange a visit for you to meet the designated beneficiary.
